A love letter to women who feel deeply…
Truthfully, my heart aches. For humanity and the state of the world. Yesterday, I asked myself what I can do. What the hell do we do?
In a time that feels helpless and dark and full of grief, I will continue to hold space for us to feel it. To move through it. To sit next to it and curl up with it.
To dance, and lean on each other.
I will continue to keep a soft and open heart, in a cruel world that continuously shows us how dangerous that is.
One that is heavy, and yet one that is hopeful. And yet that alone, feels like a privilege.
I read something yesterday that said “art is the highest form of hope.” So, when we can see our lives as that- our bodies as that; art….our actions will create the vital pathway to embody a kinder future.
But we can not ignore the present pain, nor can we be swallowed or numbed by the helplessness.
Lean on compassion now.
And love.
Don’t ignore your feelings and the sensations arriving in your body, ever, but especially right now.
Sending you deep love,
Xoxo
