(1) I release the disappointment in those who cannot support me.

(2) I release seeking validation and love from other people.

(3) I release being likable and for everyone.

(4) I release societal expectations of how I “should” behave.

(5) I release sabotaging my own boundaries to avoid confrontation.

Here’s the thing, if one or even a few of these is hitting you in the gut, I want you to sit with it for a moment.

That feeling in your gut is there on purpose. It’s a signal that something needs to be addressed. Before it can be released, it needs to be acknowledged.

We often walk through life not even knowing that there is another way. Another way of life where the source of validation and love comes from within. A way of life where authenticity serves you higher than being popular. A way of life where you don’t care about the expectations that others put on you.

Sounds like a dreamy place to be right? Well its not as far away as you might think.
