Everyone wants that dopamine hit for 50 minutes of feel goods in a class, right? But what if that once-in-a-while slam was actually harming your nervous system? Going from stressed out in the board room or the kitchen with the kids to stressed out in someone’s studio space. When we meet stress with stress, especially in the body….guess what we get?
More stress.
Tension met with tension = more tension. (Think of an argument, or a tight back.)
But tension met with the softening into routine and ritual, offers…
😮💨 Release.
🪴 Growth.
🦋 Healing.
🧬Expansion.
All ingredients for shifts and transformations.
So no, you can’t just pop in for a class, and no, I’m not going to provide you with a workout that actually further stresses out your swiss cheese of a nervous system.
I will offer you space to meet yourself where you’re at.
And to lean into community when it’s so damn hard to do big, scary things alone.
And I will check in with you, when we haven’t seen you in a while.
We know your name here, and if you let us, we would love to know your heart too.
The female body is full of ancient wisdom.
She’s needs time and places to REMEMBER.
There’s deep healing in the familiarity.
But that can’t happen in one class. Or one week. Or probably even one or two months.
