Lies you are telling yourself…

This may land a little harshly for you, especially if you are functioning from a victim mentality or a space of, “my problems are bigger than anyone else’s.”

In times of high stress, your ego will like to tell you lies like the ones listed above.

These low vibrational statements are actually forms of self-shaming. They are also excuses fed by fear and laced with limiting belief.

They’re stunting your growth & your healing.

So wtf... How do we handle this?

Acknowledge when these feelings or thoughts show up for you. Is it during certain situations, around certain people, in certain environments? Are they cyclical or momentary?

Do you really believe what you’re saying or is it just easier to align with something you’ve been told to believe or have leaned on believing most of your life? Did someone hand you a belief as a child without warning or try to stuff you into a box now as an adult, mother, small business owner, wife etc?

The antidote to this…

Breath and gratitude, to slow down the spiral.

Then reflection and accountability.

Release what is no longer yours to carry.

Move through it. To feel is to heal.  (We know just the place to do this!)

Surround yourself with people who are also tuning themselves into a higher vibration. This is old school AF but it’s true...misery loves company. Are you keeping the best company?

And lastly... for now... open yourself up to all the potential and possibility that is YOU.

Yes, we know it’s scary... but not as scary as lying to yourself. Not as scary as living in fear or lack. Not as scary as expecting other people to “fix” your problems for you.

So let me leave you with this last question:

What can you do today to support this awareness and growth?

XO
