Your whole existence is art. YOU are art. And that can not be forced.
One of my favorite practices in living a conscious life is through movement. Sensual movement and dance to be exact… Feminine activating, intuitive, listen to your body, non linear movement to be specific, in a supportive and energetically aligning space. After all, it’s hard to get into any kind of vibe or mood when you’ve got emails looming and puppy chew toys and kids socks strewn about, and all you can think about is the bag of garbage your partner just keeps forgetting to throw out lol.
But taking the time and space to move your body in a pleasurable way is like writing yourself the best damn love letter ever.
Your whole existence is art. YOU are art. And that can not be forced.
So let’s talk about forcing flow for a second.
Forcing flow, or forcing the divine feminine/ feminine embodiment, is leading with a masculine energetic approach; pushing, driving forward, “getting it done.” IE the fastest way to lead you to discouragement and frustration on this journey.
“Emily, say more.”
I got you.
So for example, if you come to the studio with the intention of conquering something, being hyper critical of pacing or trying to measure your success, you’re actually approaching your experience at the studio with more masculine energy, which is not bad inherently but not what we value here. And in my experience, that negates the genius the purely exists within the definition of the feminine; the art of being.
We also like to call that embodiment.
Something to think about.
Do you lean this way? Do you have a calculated expectation every time? Are you hard on yourself when “the thing” doesn’t happen and if so, how is that impacting your relationship with yourself? How is it impacting your relationships with others?
Remember that we are the ones that can provide ourselves with that deep grounded, rooted safety within our own bodies. Embodied practices allow us to soften in order to receive and find courage to question and observe.
This is being. This is healing. This is living with conscious relationships, that starts with your own magick.
Xoxo
