Embodied Wealth: 5 Shifts to Redefine Money, Pleasure, and Abundance

At Thrive Embodied Arts and within the Wild Within Academy, every month we anchor into an energetic theme. September is all about embodied wealth—and I want to share some truths with you.

For so many of us, money brings up contraction, shame, or fear. It’s woven into our earliest family dynamics, relationships, and survival patterns. But what if wealth was more than what sits in your bank account? What if wealth also meant groundedness, pleasure, community, and safety in your body?

Here are five pathways I’m offering this month to reframe your relationship with wealth (plus a bonus one):

1. Stop saying you’re broke.
Words are spells. Instead of saying, “I can’t afford it”, try: “That’s not a priority for me right now.” This tiny shift honors your agency.

2. Put energy where you want flow.
Money flows where energy goes. If something feels stuck, try giving it your attention instead of avoidance.

3. Be open to people wanting you to thrive.
Receiving support, payment, or generosity doesn’t make you greedy—it makes you human. Abundance is about nervous system capacity as much as it is about numbers.

4. Don’t cut the thing that brings you joy.
When things get tight, many women cut the very thing that lights them up—dance class, coaching, massage, creativity. True wealth includes space for pleasure and aliveness.

5. Hustle toward the right thing.
Busyness does not equal expansion. Hustling toward misaligned goals only takes you further off-path.

Bonus: Pleasure and rest are not rewards to be earned. You deserve them simply because you exist.

Embodiment is the thread through it all. We can’t just think or journal our way into a new relationship with wealth—we need to move with it, feel with it, and let our bodies guide us.

At Thrive and through Wild Within, we explore wealth not only as numbers, but as a way of being rooted, resourced, and alive. This is about creating a life where money and magic can coexist with pleasure, community, and depth.

So—what would it look like for you to embody wealth this month?
