Redefining Wealth: From Scarcity to Embodiment
When I was little, money was always a source of tension. Arguments, stress, separation—it was never neutral, never light. Scarcity was the undercurrent of my childhood, and for a long time, it shaped how I moved through the world.
Maybe you can relate.
That’s why at Thrive Embodied Arts, every September we devote our practice to embodied wealth.
Because wealth isn’t only about numbers—it’s about nervous system safety, groundedness, joy, and the freedom to live from your body rather than fear.
Here’s what I know now:
Your words are spells. Saying “I’m broke” creates contraction. Saying “That’s not my priority right now” creates choice.
Money flows where energy goes. Avoidance keeps you stuck; attention creates flow.
Receiving is part of wealth. People want to pay you, support you, love you. Your nervous system has to learn how to let that in.
Cutting joy won’t save you. Don’t make movement, sensuality, or community the first thing to go when times get tight. That’s your lifeline.
Hustle isn’t always holy. Misaligned effort pulls you away from what you’re actually seeking.
And here’s the bonus truth: pleasure and rest don’t need to be earned.
You deserve them because you exist.
This is what embodied wealth means to me: claiming joy, pleasure, and safety in your body, while creating sustainable flow in your business, your relationships, your life.
What does embodied wealth mean to you?
