Unspoken Anatomy

Language, Literacy, and Love Letters to a Body Remembered

Your body has a language all its own—one that predates words, societal expectations, and the clinical "shoulds" of modern life. Yet, most of us were never taught how to speak it, let alone listen to it.

The truth is, no one shows us how to actually LIVE or LOVE in a body that is cyclical, constantly changing, aging, creating life, or recovering from things we didn't ask for. We are expected to just figure it out, or worse, perform our way through it.

Welcome to Unspoken Anatomy.

This 6-week series is a profound, radical, and deeply kind space designed for responsibility—specifically, the responsibility of fostering a positive relationship to the beautiful, messy nuance of living in a body.

Throughout our time together, we will engage in a conversation with our bodies, skin-to-skin, in a way we were never taught as humans and women. Guided by the pillars of The Embodied Way™, we weave together modern science, ancient art, lived experience, and the power of raw storytelling.

This is a sanctuary for curiosity, unbound movement, zero performance, and genuine somatic healing. Whether you want to learn how to talk to your body without worrying about how you look on a pole, or you are simply ready to remember who you are, this is your invitation.

The Journey: A 6-Week Curriculum

We will move through the anatomy of the self, layer by layer, week by week.

  • Week 1: The 4 Energy Centers of The Embodied Way™

  • Establishing our foundation. We begin by mapping the internal terrain and understanding the primary energy centers that guide our movement and our truth.

  • Week 2: Feet (Toes, Arches, Ankles, and Legs)

  • Grounding into the earth. We explore the structural and energetic support system of the lower body, remembering what it means to be truly held by the ground beneath us.

  • Week 3: Heart (Arms, Hands, and Fingers)

  • The anatomy of giving and receiving. We open the chest and extremities, exploring how we reach into the world and how we bring our desires inward.

  • Week 4: Hips (Yoni and Spine)

  • The seat of intuition, creation, and pleasure. We tend to the pelvic bowl and the central nervous system, unlocking the stored stories and sensations within the yoni and the spine.

  • Week 5: Throat (Neck, Shoulders, and Mind)

  • The bridge between inner knowing and outer expression. We release the tension we carry in our upper architecture, finding the space for our authentic voice to land.

  • Week 6: Alchemy and Gratitude

  • Integration. We synthesize our somatic discoveries, honoring the body we have remembered and sealing our practice with profound gratitude and an alchemical shift.

Is This Container For You?

This is for you if:

  • You are navigating transition: Your body is aging, shifting cyclically, or recovering from trauma/injury, and you want to meet it with kindness instead of frustration.

  • You are a recovering perfectionist: You are ready for a space of zero performance where it doesn't matter what you look like from the outside.

  • You want to learn the language: You desire to decode the subtle signals of your nervous system and cultivate true physical intuition.

  • You want an off-the-pole experience: This series is completely off-the-pole. No prior movement background, flexibility, or athletic ability is required.

This is NOT for you if:

  • You want a traditional workout or pole technique class: This series does not use the poles and is not a fitness class. It is a slow, deep, internal somatic journey.

  • You want to be observed or evaluated: If you are looking for technical choreography or performance-based praise, you won't find that here.

  • You aren't ready to look inward: This work invites skin-to-skin intimacy with your own history. If you are uncomfortable with emotional mapping, the timing might not be right.

From Studio Practice to Home Sanctuary

Every single session of this 6-week series is hosted live at Thrive Embodied Arts. You will gather in the safety, warmth, and shared energy of our physical studio container to do this deep work.

However, the conversation doesn't end when you walk out our doors. To help you integrate your discoveries, you will receive take-home implementation practices after each session. These somatic prompts ensure you can comfortably continue these love letters to your body in the privacy of your own home, anchoring the alchemy into your daily life.
